The hotel's decoration was charming, with a cozy and traditional touch that made me feel right at home. The reception area and restaurant were warm and inviting, providing a comfortable space to relax and unwind. The staff, although young, were incredibly helpful and supportive, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable and stress-free. As a senior, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to the main areas and a well-maintained elevator that made it convenient for me to move around without any difficulties.
As a senior looking for the perfect vacation, the only thing I would have asked for is a more diverse menu that caters to the preferences and dietary needs of older guests. The children working there were lovely, but I believe they could have been more attentive to the specific requirements of senior travelers, ensuring a truly exceptional experience for us.

Loved the daily manager's reception, such a fancy name for free drinks! The pool was a nice touch, made me feel like a sophisticated lady, even though I couldn't swim in it because I forgot my bathing suit.
Who needs wifi anyway? It's not like I wanted to Instagram my entire stay.

The rooms at Au Périgord Noir are amazing! They are large, comfortable, and so cozy that it feels like a home away from home. The view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for sipping a morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. As someone who loves to relax and unwind, these rooms were a dream come true.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the soundproofing in the rooms as much. But hey, that's just me!

Had a great night's sleep, yummy breakfast on terrace, and they even let me use the "fancy" pool! Wow, so posh!
Bathroom was a bit "unique," like a luxurious caravan, but hey, at least it was clean. Classy!

We had a wonderful stay at Au Perigord Noir. The hotel manager was incredibly helpful, showing us to our room and providing all the information we needed. He even made restaurant reservations for us and pointed us to the nearest ATM. The rooms were great value for money and the bathrooms were clean. The hotel also had a spacious parking area and a fantastic swimming pool. The best part was the manager's willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The hotel manager was incredibly helpful and friendly, even making reservations for us at a great restaurant. The rooms were good value for money and the bathrooms were clean. The parking area was spacious and the swimming pool was wonderful. The surrounding area could use some extra amenities, but the pool itself was great.

The service at this hotel was outstanding. the hotel manager went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He recommended a great restaurant and even drove us there and back. the views of the nearby chateau were spectacular and the pool was a welcome relief from the heat. the air conditioning in our room worked well and was nearly silent.
The bathroom in our room was a bit strange, resembling a luxury caravan bathroom. Though it was clean and functional, we didn't find it particularly appealing.

The rooms at Au Périgord Noir are absolutely incredible! They are spacious, comfortable, and have everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The beds are cozy and the decor is charming. As someone who values their privacy, I especially appreciated the soundproofing. It really made the room feel like my own little sanctuary.
The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about was the lack of a view from the terrace. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

There were some wasps during breakfast, which was a bit of a nuisance. The sound of the cockerel early in the morning was a little disturbing.

Cyclist friendly! Late arrival, kind staff, ordered pizza. Clean, comfortable rooms. Chilly pool, but nice dip. Friendly staff helped with our poor French. Nice view. Bikes allowed in lobby. Onsite beer. Coffee included. Clean, spacious rooms. Lovely terrace and pool. Warm, welcoming host. Exceptional dinner. Relaxing place to explore area, sit by pool, enjoy drink. Helpful, friendly manager. Showed room, explained TV, made reservations, gave info, pointed to ATM. Good value rooms, clean bathrooms. Spacious parking. Great pool. Area could use more amenities. Low price.
